What's (still) trendy this Spring?!

That's a question that a lot of folks probably ask themselves right now.


Indeed, I know that some of us spend most of our money earned during Holidays Season (Christmas and Thanksgiving) during the Winter Sales. And frankly who can blame us for that? And other were wise enough to spare some for the Spring season coming.

The fun and coloured 70's are back!

- Look at the hair cut style
- Long dress will be the hit (hello Woodstock)
- Long straight pants
- Very bright mix of colours (psychyyy!)

Or at least, that's how H&M, Celine ALDO Max Jacob and Desigual look at it. Why? I don't know but they bring some fun and colors to a grey grey year if you look at the global economy or the threats here and there. Wearing bright and colored clothes is those days a way to show your strong personality and your will to not be affected by what is going on.




The serious (and scary?) aspect of 2011 fashion trends according to others

- Look at the hair cut (did I say that already? Then check this)
- Strict and simple lines
- Few colors, always pastel sometimes shade.
- Tight but not sexy, sometimes even not very feminine

Let's take a look at Calvin Klein, Chanel and surprisingly Zara too!

I don't know for you but sometimes, I prefer to live a bit in a dream and forget about my day. Fashion ready to wear (aka "prêt à porter" in French) is a way to fulfill your daily life. I will not suggest the direction took by Zara or CK this year - except if you have to emphasize your strong personality.
